Development and production preparation of plastic parts using advanced CAE simulations

Be invited to the traditional conference Polymer Composites 2023, which will take place on 24-25 May in Tábor. Advanced Engineering s.r.o. will be there together with Plasty Gabriel s.r.o. with a lecture on Development and preparation of plastic parts production using advanced CAE simulations, followed by demonstrations and discussions at the exhibition stand.

The topic of the lecture is a demonstration of a complete workflow for the development of a plastic part with the following phases

• Conceptual and detailed design of the part
• Simulation
• Optimization
• Design and manufacture of the mould
• Patterning
• Serial quality checks

We will show how the different simulation tools help in the different phases of development. In particular, Altair Inspire Mold for verifying manufacturability and Simcon CADMOULD and VARIMOS for detailed simulations of the injection molding process, but we will also mention other solutions for multi-physics simulation and optimization. The good news is that these tools can now be run under one software license. This is the Altair Partner Alliance program, which gives customers the widest range of simulation options in development and production preparation, but without the added cost.
