Altair Unlimited
For most CAE customers, the most attractive HPC product is Altair Unlimited, a highly efficient combination of hardware, CAE software, and services. The next generation of HPC and software solution provisioning is included in Altair One services.
Turnkey High-performance Computing solution
Altair Unlimited (successor of HyperWorks Unlimited) is a comprehensive suite of solutions that includes software, system management, and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) into a single, intuitive platform. Designed as a Physical Appliance, this is a CAE-tuned computer ready to handle demanding tasks with an unlimited HyperWorks license and PBS Works efficient task management tool. The solutions are tuned, alternatively for both CPU and GPU-based calculations, to cover for the customer the required range of performance for tasks in the field of mechanics, CFD, electromagnetics etc.
The second variant of Altair Unlimited is the so-called Virtual Appliance, which is remarkably similar but computing performance is delivered as a cloud service instead of an on-premise hardware solution.
Workload Management
The Altair PBS Works™ suite of tools includes the industry-leading Altair PBS Professional workload manager, designed to increase productivity, optimize utilization and efficiency, and simplify management for HPC clusters, clouds, and supercomputers. Get maximum throughput for EDA jobs with Altair Accelerator, an enterprise scheduler that can run millions of jobs per day. Altair FlowTracer is designed to optimize compute resources and compute job flow.
