Digital Twins for Product Development and Operations
New Webinar Series from Altair
Altair has prepared a new webinar series, this time Altair has decided to focus on Digital Twin technology and its potential in many different fields. It will begin on April 10 and for accessibility reasons, it is possible to choose from three separate time zones. For our region, the webinars begin always at 10 AM. Digital Twin technology offers the possibility of transformative evolution of products, which can predict system behavior and be a great tool for optimization of system results based on real operational data.
The webinar series consists of 4 presentations that will explore different applications of the Digital Twin to help users get the most out of this technology. The webinars are primarily designed for experienced engineers from different disciplines. R&D managers and those responsible for product sustainability will also benefit from the webinar. The range of Digital Twin applications in different fields is vast.
Program of the webinars
April 10 2024 | Digital Twin for Durability – How to schedule maintenance the smart way?
The first webinar is dedicated to the field of predictive and proactive maintenance of machines and equipment. But you will also learn how to include a strategy with digital twins in the overall process of development and testing.
May 14 2024 | Digital Twin for Operations – How to enable intelligent operations?
In this webinar, users will learn how to use Digital Twin to speed up and make the production process more efficient. A great example is how Digital Twin enables accurate monitoring through key performance indicators (KPIs) that work from data collected from sensors in real-time.
12. 6. 2024 | Digital Twin for Thermal Battery Management – How to extend the range of electrified vehicles?
The topic for this seminar will be the usage of Digital Twin when constructing high-performance EV batteries. The production of these batteries is very demanding with many challenges and Digital Twin can help with some of them. This is the precise monitoring of the production process using key performance indicators (KPIs) based on data from sensors collected in real-time. Another topic is the involvement of FE simulations to predict quality loss and solve what-if analyses.
10. 7. 2024 | Digital Twin for Multi-physics Systems – How to verify and optimize performance at the overall product level?
The topic of the last of the webinars is the use of digital twin technology for the development of complex systems. These consist of individual subsystems that interact with each other, and various physical phenomena and fields are applied in them – e.g., mechanical structures, fluid mechanics, heat, electromagnetism, and control subsystems. A multi-physics approach, system modeling, and co-simulation are the solutions for product optimization from the perspective of the entire system.
Among other speakers, you can look forward to Cristian Kehrer, now at Altair in the position of Business Development Director – Systems Integration. The participants of the previous year’s ATCx Praha conference in Prague will remember his Streamlining Product Development Using Digital Twins, the recording of which can be found in the Download.
