PCB Simulation: Altair Pollex for Altium Designer

In cooperation with the local Altium representative, Retry s.r.o., we have prepared a joint webinar focused on the possibilities of cooperation between Altium Designer and Altair PollEx software tools.

Altair PollEx focuses on a large spectrum of PCB simulations, such as the characteristics of designed connections, signal and power propagation on PCBs, or the basic determination of PCB thermal parameters.
In addition to these simulations, it can perform manufacturability and assemblability checks and thus perfectly complements Altium Designer in this area.

The webinar is aimed at printed circuit board designers who are interested in checking the correctness of designs – both in terms of functionality and manufacturability. We will primarily focus on Altium Designer users, but the same approach applies to users of other ECAD solutions (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Zuken, Autodesk).

For data transfer between the two systems, the first version of the plugin was created, which allows both systems to work on the same PCB and gradually adapt it to the required parameters.

The technical demonstrations will be in English this time. The lecture will be given by Mr. Marek Jableka from Altair.
