Altair Engineering Inc. has announced a new SimLab sT solution. As the name suggests, this is a variant of the SimLab software from the HyperWorks family, which has been modified to integrate into the solidThinking family. In the sT design, SimLab integrates solver solutions in a portfolio that makes it an all-in-one tool for multi-physical analysis.
With a easy-to-use modern user interface that is identical to classic SimLab and new solidThinking applications and with a unique license model (token based solidThinking licenses), it will surely be an attractive choice for engineers and designers in midsize businesses. They will also appreciate the two-way associativity of the CAE model with the geometric model created in parametric systems such as Catia, Creo, NX and SolidWorks.
