Conference ATCx Praha 2024
October 15-16, 2024
PRAHA 4, Vyskočilova 1561/4a, Microsoft building
As in previous years, Advanced Engineering is organizing its ATCx (Altair Technology Conference) for users and fans of CAE and technical computing. Traditionally, we will come with presentations from existing CAE users, news from Altair’s portfolio, and academic contributions.
This year, the conference will follow the Advanced Engineering Tech Day and AI-Powered Engineering. The event will start already on the eve, i.e. on Tuesday 15.10.2024 at 6.30 p.m. (technical discussions on current user topics, exchange of experiences, and accompanying program with traditional karting in Praga Arena). The conference’s main, full-day lecture program will follow on Wednesday 16.10.2024 from 9.00 a.m.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
You can look forward to experiences, user tips, “how-to” recommendations, case studies, and news in simulation technologies.
- CAE simulation and materials – how-to for plastic components, composite materials, and joints combining different materials
- Computer Aided Engineering in practice (aerospace and automotive components development)
- Efficient and advanced FEM pre- and post-processing – recommended workflows and techniques
- Advanced and lesser-known techniques in the use of solvers for structural analysis and optimization
- Multiphysics – Co-simulation and interaction of bulk materials (DEM) with mechanical structures (MBD, FEM), thermal management and optimization of cooling paths
- Simulation-driven Design in the automotive industry – news, how-to
- 1D simulation and modeling of complex systems
SPEAKERS
The following gentlemen will share their experience and know-how with you:
Josef Křena (VZLÚ), Martin Nedoma (ZKW Automotive Engineering CZ), Vít Sháněl (Česká zbrojovka), Stefan Kolling (Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen), Jiří Frühbauer (VUT Brno), Petr Sůva (PLASTSIM), Marian Bulla a Michele Macchioni (Altair); Martin Kuklík, Jiří Križan a Vojtěch Rulc (Advanced Engineering).
In addition to various interesting lectures, technical support specialists will be available throughout the day to answer your questions and provide live demonstrations.
Traditionally, we will meet at the Microsoft conference premises in Prague (1561/4a Vyskočilova Street) and the evening before at Praga Arena (Jiřího ze Vtelna 1731, Prague 9 – Horní Počernice; we will arrange shared transport for those interested – please specify in your registration). Keep an eye on the Advanced Engineering website, where we will continue to update the conference program.
We would appreciate early registrations to help us prepare for the event. Therefore, we will reward a randomly drawn participant from the first twenty confirmed registrations.
Participation in the conference, including the accompanying program, is free of charge upon confirmed registration.
We look forward to meeting you,
Advanced Engineering Team
